Anybody seen these on the roads yet?

Seems like this 1 house I pass by on foot, always has something interesting sitting in the driveway. It's not always an electric but that's the way it's been lately, including this electric Focus. Notice how it has manufacturer's plates attached to it: Unfortunately the Focus is not much to look at

No, I have not seen any in NOVA.

I haven't seen a Focus yet, but I have seen a few of the electric MkVI Golf mules driving around.

While I would prefer my electric car to look normal, I think most people want to flaunt how "green" they are with some kind of spacey looking eco-mobile.

Sweet. I think you should introduce yourself to your neighbor. They're definitely a car reviewer and I'll bet they are cool to talk to.

I agree...I think the Focus is a great looking green car...maybe they should just put a sticker the size of the car on the side that says "electric" and they should all have plates that says "Smug This" then it will be a "green" success.

In all honestly I have heard these haven’t been moving...they are relatively new and I don’t think most people are really aware of the option yet so maybe it will get some traction down the line.

I don't agree. Look at the Leaf, it sells because it is a normal car, and not a weird super-narrow miniature vehicle like the i-Miev.

The Focus does look somewhat average for this day and age. I dislike the design of the tall lights though. While I actually did like the tail lights on the first Focus or how FoMoCo chose to mount them on top of the C pillars

If I saw that, I'd knock on his door and start up a conversation.

I am curious about who ever this guy is since I've seen so many interesting cars parked in his driveway, even exotics such as an Aston Martin. If I ever run into him, I would start asking about where he gets all his cars from. I'm not going to knock on his door though, especially at 7:30AM when I spotted this. It's too bad he doesn't post here

He definitely reviews cars. Note the manufacturer plate. Probably really cool to talk to. I know the guy at work who does that is.

where i live, work, drive there are lots of eco people. wouldn't surprise me if i passed 1 or 2 on my daily commute.
