    Finished rebuilding it from this.

    To this:

New tires, tubes, re-taped, bearings all around re-packed, wheels true'd, new chain & seat, drive degreased and re-oiled, clip in pedals installed. Ready for the W P Hustle!

I installed my new luv handles tonight. I did a short night ride and I really like the hand position, definitely worth a few extra grams.

Last night I swapped out my pursuit bars for velo drops and tossed on a Celeste Aerospoke and new Soma Ensho saddle with Thompson Masterpiece seat post. Oh, and tossed on a temp set of platform pedals with Hold Fast straps until my track pedals show up.

Installed the 16t on the Monocog to kick off after work offroad riding next week. Just a quick spin up the street tells me this is going to be painful.

    Installed:

Easton Havoc AM wheelset with WTB Prowler tires
Upsized Alligator rotors with Hayes Stroker Ace 4-piston calipers all around
    Answer pedals
    Azonic Head Lock
    new SRAM chain and Casette

I think the brake lines need shortened, they're pretty damn long out the box. I also want to get my steerer tube cut down. Off to the LSB...

Forgot to mention that the rear rotor appears to be warped. I bought it in October from PricePoint; I sent them an email to see if they have any suggestions.

How out of shape is it? It should be possible to straighten it.

It's not that bad... about 15% of it rubs. I can probably straighten it out easy enough. Just kinda frustrating when you install something brand new and it's not 100%.

Took it apart. Got crashed out of a race last weekend and found a crack in the top tube. Time off the bike will give me time to build up a new bike. S Works SL4 and Campy record 11 will be awesome. In other news, if anyone wants a 54 Liquigas Supersix frame set to have repaired hit me up. Looking for 500 + shipping for it.

Let's see... on Wednesday my new track pedals and toe clips came in so I tossed those on.

Origin8 Track Pro with All-City Toe Clips and Leather Double Straps.

Then I saw these at a local bike shop last night and started considering going clipless, which would benefit me more at the track.

Got up this morning and decided to check out a shop across the street from my local velo that I had never gone in before. I ended up coming home with some goodies!

Installed everything and then went for a ride

Worked on my '06 Cannondale Scalpel 2000, refilled my shocks to spec for my weight with my new shock pump, and I bled my Hydro Shimano brakes, which was actually quite easy. I'm excited to get back into mountain biking this summer since I had given it up due to lack of funds and Ironman training.

I'm excited to get back into the style of cycling that I truly enjoy. I am considering doing XC racing since I have a decent bike for it, just need to work on my handling and fitness a bit. Handling is my biggest weakness since I tend to go into turns too "hot" and then my rear wheel doesn't stay planted in the dirt and I either wipe out, or simply lose all of the speed and come out of the turn from a standstill.

I bought a 12 year old Rockhopper Comp for my son from Craig's that was ridden only a few times

I replaced the original tubes, and tires tonight. I'm hoping to replace the fossilized brake pads tomorrow.

Hydraulic brakes for my 29er and rear hydraulic brake for the kid's (ghetto fab) DJ (trek 2900 with race face crank, surly singulator, marzocci DJ1 fork, and rear disc brake) he likes it, and all his friends with "real" DJ feel like it's damn near as good as theirs.

    Bike started ghost shifting, so....

    Washed
    Degreased drivetrain entirely
    Re-lubed everything
New rear brake pads (front ones are on order, should be at LBS by tuesday), and cleaned both rotors
    Rebuilt drive side eggbeater pedal
    Tuned derailleurs

I think on Tuesday when I pick up the front pads I'll order some new wheels. Toss up right now on colors, but will be Stan's 29er Arch EX on Chris King hubs. Maybe some new Schwalbe tires too... f*** it!

Installed a freebie fender someone dumped in my recycling bin. It would have been nice if he/she also left a mounting kit for it. I bolted it to my front reflector bracket.

New bottom bracket/bearings, cranks actually turn freely now. That must be why I was so slow

Replaced the knobby Maxxis tires with some Specialized Infinity slicks on my old Mongoose. Hope this makes the commute to work a little bit easier until I figure out what my new bike will be....

Finally pressed out the POS Campy headset and installed a new Chris King Nothreadset on my new (to me) 2006 Litespeed Siena. Remainder of the parts are coming in this week. Can't wait.

Slowly continued building the Litespeed. Installed the Jagwire "Racer" brake kit and a set of Fulcrum Racing Zero 2-Ways with Hutchinson Intensive 700x25 tubeless. I'm a front derailleur clamp away from finishing this thing.

Very nice build, looking great... Ti is a very nice ride. I have a litespeed that has over 25,000 miles on it and it is still going strong.

washed it, lubed up the chain and adjusted the rear wheel position a bit since it had somehow loosened up.

Stripped this down to the frame:

Because I found this 10 miles into a 40 mile ride yesterday:

Think I may sell the replacement frame and go in another direction. Bummed.
