Random senior picture ideas??

Its the season for senior picures, and i want something original. I dont want the traditional tree or brick wall bull, i want soemthing funny, weird, random, or all of the above. I only have one idea so far tho, and that is to take on at a movie theater, with popcorn in my arm and a drink im my other hand, and having the light of the movie shine on my face. however, i dont know if i can do that.

Also, my friend got like 5 of his pictures taken with a onezie on, so, i kindof need to top that.

Now for the question: can any of you give me weird *** ideas for senior pictures?

one of my buddies was really into film editing and is currently majoring in it at college. His senior picture was just him standing naked with nothing but one of those things that starts a new scene of filming with the info on it covering his crotch. I dont know what its called,the white and black thing that has the top piece that closes, hopefully you can figure it out.

For the theater shot idea, why not go to the first showing of that new Eddie Murphy movie with your photographer? I'm thinking there won't be too many people in there.

Or quickly befriend someone that works there and could let you in when there's no film showing.

As for other thoughts... What is there in Des Moines that you can take advantage of for background?

absolutely no where. my girlfriend has a movie theater in her basement, but id feel like **** asking to use it.

Also, what some of us may think are cool ideas, might not flow with who you're working with. It really depends on the personality of that person and what they're into. Idea's never hurt though.......

hire a photo journalist (news photographer) their candid approach and use of natural light is "different" alot of more traditional photographers are trying to stay away from the "tree" and "brick wall" . Never fails, i have a senior that wants to do something different.. we still end up shooting next to a frickin tree or find something BRICK to shot.

I love just shooting away without worrying about "perfect posture"

Or even go out of town for you photography, different back grounds, different scenes... not the same as everyone else.

I always wanted to shoot in a salvage yard.

I shot one of my sister in law with the hood open of her car and i srayed water to make it STEAM up and she has this totally clueless look on her face.

I thought it was funny but of course she didnt order it.
